Sikandra, Tomb of Mughal emperor Akbar (reigned 1556-1605). The construction was initiated by Akbar but completed by his son, then the emperor Jahangir, in 1613.

Agra, Itimad-ud-Daulah, tomb of Mirza Ghiyas Beg, Chief Minister of the Mughal emperor Jahangir, father of Nur Jahan; completed in 1626.


Taj Mahal
The white marble mausoleum located in Agra was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Construction began around 1632 and was completed around 1653.

Sir Wellington Patrick Manvers Chetwynd-Talbot and Lady Emma Charlotte Stanley, daughter of Edward Geoffrey Smith-Stanley, 14th Earl of Derby, three times Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
